Did you know that you can remove a Stanley Quencher Cup handle?
After writing my last post on dyeing a Stanley lid, I knew this was a thing. Many people would opt for dyeing the entire tumbler, and removing the handle ensures an even color.
Because of the screws to the top and bottom of the handle, you can use a 3 or 3.5 Allen wrench to take them off.
I also saw this on TikTok here.
Method
Tools:
- Small Phillips head screwdriver/ 3 or 3.5 Allen wrench
Steps
- Locate Screws: Look at the base of the handle where it attaches to the cup. You’ll find two small screws securing the handle.
- Remove Screws: Carefully unscrew both screws using your Phillips head screwdriver. Set the screws aside in a safe place to avoid losing them.
- Detach Handle: Once the screws are out, the handle should easily slide off the tumbler.
Wrapping Up
That’s it! Removing your Stanley Cup handle is super easy. However, don’t forget to secure the screws so you do not lose them.
